Turn Net Systems (TSYS) Group was formed in December 2015 with a mission of bringing revolutionary low-cost internet access to both humans and machines (IoT) all over the world.
We have been self funded by our members, recruiting early talent and building/testing prototypes of the products/services of our two subsidiary operating companies:
- Suborbital Systems LLC develops our network technology utilizing suborbital balloons (SkyMesh), regional base stations (BridgeMesh), and portable access devices (PocketMesh).
- RackRental.net LLC provides training for those running the local networks. And while we are developing the training for our own systems, RackRental already offers training on legacy network platforms including Cisco, Juniper, and others for hourly or monthly reservation.
NeLocal wireless network service providers will run independently, while TSYS provides the necessary products, support, and education. As part of that support, we are setting up the following independent organizations:
- The High Flight Network Operating Company (HFNOC) will operate as a fairshares co-op corporation in the great state of Texas. The network service providers will be the co-op members, sharing some governance and resources while independently owning and operating their local networks.
- The High Flight Network Finance Company (HFNFC) will help facilitate the financing needed to help each local network get started. HFNFC is a wholly owned subsidiary of HFNOC, is operated as a coop and is a member of HFNOC coop. All loan profit flows back to the coop members and you have to join the coop to receive financing. No value extraction here!
TSYS Group is actively raising capital for R&D , initial launch operations and full scale production through a combination of US Government grants / contracts and via our Redwood Springs Capital Partners subsidiary.
